Commissioned by David Foster and later sold for $5.5 million, the Shoal Point Penthouse is one of the renovations we are proudest of.
Perched at the top of one of Victoria’s most prestigious waterfront buildings, the home was stripped back to a bare concrete shell and rebuilt from the inside out.
The finished residence runs to 4,400 square feet of quiet precision: coffered ceilings that conceal the forced-air heating and cooling and hidden mood lighting, two grand master suites — each with a full marble steam shower — fully automated electrical and plumbing shut-offs for when the owners are away, and a custom marble-and-stainless gourmet kitchen.
Delivering a best-in-class home at the very top of an occupied luxury building, with minimal disruption to the neighbours below, was one of the more demanding renovations we have undertaken as general contractors. It is exactly the kind of problem this company was built to solve.
“They solved problems that weren’t solvable and delivered things that just weren’t deliverable.”
