Our Team

When you’re considering a home renovation or custom building project in Victoria BC, choosing the right general contractor is vital to the success of your venture. C&W Campbell Homes Ltd. was founded by William and Carla Campbell in 1980. We have since continued to deliver residential and commercial projects on time and within budget.

We serve the following areas from our locations in Victoria and Courtenay, BC:

  • Courtenay/Comox
  • Denman Island
  • Hornby Island

C&W Campbell Homes Ltd provides new construction and residential or commercial renovations in these locations and the surrounding areas.

William A. Campbell – President

William (Bill) Campbell was born and raised in Victoria BC, and has extensive experience in the construction industry. He started as an apprentice with Campbell Construction, where he learned carpentry from the best tradesmen of the day. Bill rose through the ranks to the position of site superintendent on large commercial projects over the next 15 years, and then founded C&W Campbell Homes Ltd. in 1980. He is an accredited project manager, administrator and estimator, as well as a Red Seal journeyman carpenter.

As president of C&W Campbell, Bill has used his 50 plus years of experience to turn C&W Campbell into an industry leading firm which raises the bar on construction in Victoria BC.

Bill is always looking for ways to give back to the construction community, and this led him to become Chair of the Board of Directors of the Construction Association of Victoria in 1994. Bill continued to serve on the Board for more than 10 years. He also served on the Public Construction Council (PCC) of British Columbia for 11 years, representing the B.C. Construction Association, and held the position of Chairman of the PCC for three of those years.

Jamie Campbell

Jamie Campbell has been employed with C&W Campbell Homes Ltd since 1999 and currently works as a project manager, estimator and general superintendent. He is also a credentialed Red Seal journeyman carpenter, and a Certified Tradesman in Passive Home Building. Jamie finished top in his class all four years of his apprenticeship training at Camosun College. He has an extensive knowledge of the trade and of all aspects of building. He has a passion for problem solving and working with the owners, architects, engineers and/or designers to come up with solutions that fit the owners’ needs best.

Bryan Valiquette

Bryan is an Architectural Technologist with over 30 years of experience in both residential and commercial construction and with formal training as a Professional Project Manager.  Bryan has demonstrated leadership and expertise in virtually all aspects of the building experience from design to construction to business management. This includes: CADD design, budgeting/cost control, carpentry, trades management, quality assurance and customer service. This broad experience gives Bryan a unique perspective when it comes to renovating and building homes, condos or commercial space; he understands integrated “building science” in ways that many builders and renovators may not. Bryan is a skilled communicator and relationship manager, recognizing the paramount importance of customer service and client engagement.

Gerald Smith

Gerald Smith has been with C&W Campbell since 1990 and currently works out of our Courtenay office, which was established in 1992.

Erin Campbell

Erin Campbell is the company’s bookkeeper, looking after payroll and accounts payable/receivable for Victoria and Courtenay

Remi Campbell

Remi Campbell – Remi is the company’s Chief Morale Officer. He knows very little about construction, but learning more each day.
